1. After you fill out your application you will receive your passport.
2. Using the letter provided in your passport, your first task is to decide on the African animal which you will research.

3. Once you have chosen your animal, you will spend 1 week observing your animal in its natural habitat.
(Recommended site: youtube.com and any website ending in “.edu” as opposed to “.com.”)
4. While observing your animal you must create 5 journal entries documenting your animal’s behavior and details of its environment. You must also include a sketch of your subject. This will be handed-in in a notebook.
5. Then, you will take all of your research and observations and use it to complete an informative questionnaire. The answers to the questions can be presented through your choice of mediums. Media can include poster board, PowerPoint, video, interview, or diorama.
6. You will be given 10 minutes to inform your classmates of your findings and prepare them for their own travels. After you fill out your application you will receive your passport.
